1980 Delco Fiberglass

Late 2007 brought me a new project, a 1980 16' open bow boat with a 1983 Johnson 115hp V4.

Have not had time to do much with this and unfortunately until Spring I won't get much done due to house remodeling and other projects. The motor is in great shape along with the trailer, but the floor of the boat is another story. After some cutting I discovered I have a rotted floor under the fiberglass skin. 

Once I determine the extent of the floor damage the real work begins. If I'm lucky I will only need to replace the foam and floor and the stringers will be OK. 

Definitely needs work  but the initial investment for the boat motor and trailer was less than a couple hundred dollars. I figure if I can clean her up with new interior and floor for a reasonable amount I got a deal. I'm looking forward to the project, but it is a little daunting.
