Just another basic astro page. I have been into astronomy for about 15 years, only getting serious in the last year or two. Had the standard '650 Power!!!' department store scope for a long time until I decided to build my 8" reflector telescope in 2005. 2006 brought a pair of Oberwerk 15X70 binoculars that sit atop a crutch-style tripod and parallelogram mount. In 2007 I picked up a used Orion 120mm f/5 refractor. The refractor shares the crutch tripod with the binos for now. Just after I purchased the Orion 120mm scope I came across and auction for a 1975 Criterion RV-6, 6" f/8 scope. I could not pass up such a fine example of a classic scope.

DIY

Over time I have made a few items help satisfy my astronomy appetite. I am fortunate to have a small shop setup at the house. I do not have 'plans' for any of the items I have made. If you have any questions about any of the things I have made feel free to send me an email, I will do what I can to help.
